Fate - (Poem)

You kissed Me and said I was an angel from above ...

We were just two teens in love ...
Our parents said it would never last ...
That soon we would be in each others past ...
Doubt settled in on Me,
And you became unsteady ...
Tears were shed ...
And hearts turned to lead ...
Our innocent love turned to hate ...
And all our parents said was ... It was Fate !
