About The Valentine's Symbols ... :
Cupid :
Cupid, the mischievous son of the Goddess of Love, Venus, is supposedly responsible for people falling in love. According to the myths, anyone being hit by Cupid's arrow falls in love with the first person he/she sees. His mischievous intentions have led to some entertaining situations in various legends. Cupid in the Roman mythology has Eros, the son of Aphrodite, as his counterpart in the Greek Myths. The names of both these Gods are used synonymously with the concept of love today.
Roses:
Roses have always been the subject of great importance and a certain hit with the lovers all around the world. Roses symbolize love, compassion, peace, friendship and romance. They are available in various colours, each in turn signifying a different thing. Red for passion, Yellow for friendship and White stands for true love and devotion.
Ribbons And Frills :
Hearts :
To a beloved, there is no symbol as important as the heart. To give someone one's heart means to give to him or her one's whole being, for the heart is at the centre of one's existence. The heart stands for the most profound and noblest of human emotions- that of love. Through ages, it has inspired millions to rise above the mundane cares and to get lost in the thought of their beloved. Thus a heart, pierced by the cupid's arrow, has become the most famous symbols of love.
Love Birds And Doves :
It was a popular belief in the olden times that the birds chose their mates on 14th of February. Doves and pigeons mate for life and therefore were used as a symbol of "fidelity."
"Oft have I heard both youth and virgin say
Birds choose their mates, and couples too, this day;
But by their flight I never can divine,
When I shall couple with my Valentine."
-Herrick
Love Knots :
The fashion of sending love knots is traced backed to the Arabic traditions where young Muslim Women in traditional and orthodox households expressed their love and affection via the medium of love knots. These women used to sent their love messages to their beloved one's woven in the knots of a carpet. The concept of love knots continues to exist even to this day.

A Prayer For A Lover ❤
Dear GOD,
He is my friend, my love, and life, whom I adore, and this is my prayer for him:
Help him to live his life to the fullest.
Please promote him,
and cause him to excel above his expectations.
Help him to shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love.
Protect him at all times.
Left him up when he need You the most.
And let him know when walk with You ...
He will always be safe.
GOD,
I LOVE HIM ❤

A Wish
I lie on the ground,
and stare into space,
the stars start to move,
into the shape of your face.
I see you there now,
looking down at me,
with that cute little smile,
that I like to see.
You say "close your eyes",
"tell me what you see",
I see only two people,
just you and me.
We're walking the shoreline,
with our feet getting wet,
the horizon turns pink,
as the sun starts to set.
We make love through the night,
on that white sandy shore,
then I hold you while thinking,
I could want nothing more.
Oh I wish I could be,
in that one special place,
as I lie on the ground,
and I stare into space.
